Back in August I wrote about the shop Paper Goat Post that was soon to open on Orange Avenue in the charming Ivanhood neighborhood of Orlando. I got to visit the finished shop that is having it's grand opening to the public on Friday, October 2nd.
Sisters Megan and Cedar have done an amazing job outfitting their space with eye candy that will have you wishing you had brought along that stray random K-Mart cart you saw near the railroad tracks to fill up with goodies.
While they opened the space to lend their expertise by planing any and all events from intimate dinners to large scale corporate sized events, this shop is also perfect for anyone who loves browsing a wide variety of gifts, trinkets and cute organization tools for others or themselves.
I personally picked up a Emily Ley planner covered in gold pineapples for 2016 along with fun Meri Meri Sweet Stickers. Deciding to not be completely selfish I picked up a gift, an item I had never seen before - Classics Unfolded: Alice in Wonderland.
I really had to get out of there before I lost all control of my debit card, but not before I enjoyed a cocktail from Orlando's finest bartender and slinger of all things Old Forester, Michael Ring, and a few treats from local bakeries like I Love Buttermilk, P is for Pie, and Blue Bird Bake Shop. I can't wait to go back and make a few more purchases, and maybe one day have a reason to take advantage of their balloon bar. These balloons are massive and so much fun!
This duo has a keen eye for detail and organization, not to mention they couldn't be sweeter, so make sure to visit them and share their gorgeous business so you can spread the local love and support these ballin lady entrepreneurs.
The shop opens tomorrow with hours of 10AM - 7PM Tuesday through Saturday, 10AM - 5PM on Sunday, closed Mondays.
